The Greens at Grand Geneva

The greens at Grand Geneva once again served as the stunning location for the 10th Annual Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Golf Outing held on June 27, 2016.

The milestone event was greeted with sunny skies and an energized group of over 150 golfers hitting both the Brute and Highlands courses. On-course hole contests were held including ‘Beat the Nun’ and a Bullseye contest. The ‘Beat the Nun’ contest allows golfers the opportunity to out-drive a Felician Sister! The Bullseye contest allows players the opportunity to aim for a circle on the green using a T-shirt gun! It was a fun day for all who took part.

This year was an especially notable one as the organization transfers leadership to Ascension Wisconsin. Representatives from both Ascension Wisconsin and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare were present to usher in a new chapter together. Retiring Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare CEO, John Oliverio, provided remarks at the hors d’oeuvres reception following the completion of golfing. Golfer awards were also presented to both men and women for the longest drive, longest putt, shortest drive, closest to the pin as well as winners of the hole contests.

We thank all those who participated and sponsored this year’s outing. Proceeds from the event support Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s North, Central and South Market Foundations.
