7th Annual Tyler Lee Car Show

Tyler Lee Memorial Car ShowThe 7th Annual Tyler Lee Car Show was held at Classic Lanes in Oak Creek on Aug. 15. In addition to a car show, this family-focused event was complete with a bounce house, 50/50 raffle, live music, food and prizes! Music by Feelin’ the Beat kept the crowd rocking! All of this fun was in support of the Wheaton Franciscan - St. Joseph Campus Antepartum Fund.

Julie and Troy Magerowski are two of our donors who tirelessly raise funds for the Antepartum and Neonatal Intensive Care Funds. They began their fundraising efforts when their twin nephews, Tyler and Jacob, were born prematurely at St. Joseph in 2008. The infants suffered from Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, where twins who share a placenta also share blood, often leading to birth defects or even death for one or both babies. Unfortunately, Tyler succumbed to complications a few weeks after birth. His brother, Jacob, survived and is a healthy and happy seven year old.

Since they began their fundraising efforts six years ago, the Magerowski family and friends have raised more than $100,000 for St. Joseph! We sincerely appreciate everything they have done and continue to do.

Wheaton Franciscan – Elmbrook Memorial and St. Joseph Campuses Inpatient Rehabilitation Center associates are dedicated to assisting patients in need. Championed by Social Worker Beth Hohl, the staff organized this annual fundraiser to support the Center's Patient Assistance Fund.

Inpatient Rehab FundraiserHeld during National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, the after work event took place on Sept. 24 at Jimmy’s Island Grill and Iguana Bar in Wauwatosa and drew 100 individuals who raised over $9,000 from sponsorship, raffle and silent auction items.

This event gets bigger and better every year – so stay tuned for the 2016 event and join us in support of our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center!

Get Your Groove on with Zumbathon® Spooktacular Party

The 5th Annual Zumbathon® Fitness Spooktacular Party was held Oct. 9 at Hales Corners Lutheran Church. The proceeds of this groovy event benefit the Wheaton Franciscan - St. Joseph Campus Prescription Assistance Fund. This fund provides financial support for medication when there are no other options for patients who cannot afford it.

Zumbathon Fitness Spooktacular Party

The 2015 Spooktacular was chaired by Kim Schrank, Director of Outpatient Pharmacy, and Zumba Instructor Dina Sharafinski, and was the biggest one yet! The event sold out at 250 attendees, many of whom were in costume and Zumba’d for 90 minutes with 16 instructors. Each instructor brought their own style and flair – along with funky music – to make this event spooktacular!

The event would not have been complete without awesome raffle prizes such as Halloween candy, spooky movie night, Bath & Body Works and wine baskets to name a few. Nearly $7,000 was raised, which will go a long way in helping low income patients receive life-saving medication.
