Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms

While not everyone experiences the same MS symptoms for the same length of time, some early symptoms you may experience include:

  • Blurred or double vision
  • Red-green color distortion
  • Pain and loss of vision due to an inflammation of your optic nerve (optic neuritis)
  • Difficulty walking
  • Abnormal sensation or pain (paresthesia), such as a prickling feeling or numbness

Once the condition has progressed into a later stage, symptoms of multiple sclerosis you may experience include, among others:

  • Muscle weakness
  • Involuntary muscle stiffness or spasms (spasticity)
