Dr. Jankovic is caring and thorough. He explains everything in easy to understand terms. He is a good listener and gathers all information needed. I've been dealing with back and hip pain for months on my own hoping it would resolve. I decided to seek him out as he was a great help in the past with another medical problem I had. he has a great bedside manner that makes one feel confident in the care given. I an appreciate the extra training he has being an osteopathic doctor. I have some knowledge of this as my daughter attended osteopathic med school. I knew I had a thorough assessment as he listened to all of my history, symptoms, asked questions, and explained x-rays results. I am confident my pain will be resolved with the plan of care he established for me. I will definitely recommend Dr. Jankovic to others...he is "one in a million ".

I have told literally everyone I know about Dr. Jankovic (if that's how you spell it?). I am sincerely in awe of this man. I can't believe he's a human being - he somehow shows incredible care for who I am as a person as well as my symptoms, and yet so efficiently gets the job done in record time. Before you can even process everything he's already at a solution! It's just insane. I think his brain works at 1.5x speed compared to the rest of us. Anyways - I think he deserves double time off on a tropical island for not only the kind of doctor he is, but for the kind of person he is. He always asks, "Is there something we're missing?" and if there are any scary test results, calls me personally (and REMEMBERS who I am?! I can't even remember to check in on my own flights! Crazy!), and calms me down one-on-one if needed. He researches every possibility and refers out what he does not know. He can assess and diagnose within seconds and seems to be genuinely interested in me as well as my pain. He listens carefully but doesn't take my advice just to be nice cause I'm hurting (obviously I don't know the answers!)- instead, he synthesizes it with his obvious expertise and even if I'm way off, he respects that I felt safe to share an idea. I can't think of ANYONE I have interacted with in the medical field that even comes NEAR Dr. J's incredibly humanitarian nature and simply astounding mind. How does he do all of this, and keep it straight, while treating each patient like an individual?! AND, now I have a solution to my pain -he gave me a clear plan of action and answered all of my questions. But that almost feels secondary. Even if I had been treated for something unexplainable, I would have walked away feeling cared for and loved (not in a weird way, but real selflessness!), and no one can replace or manufacture that. I see some kind of supernatural love of Jesus in Dr. J even if he is not religious - it is something divine, something so out of this world that it is almost impossible to explain. (Due to my faith, anyways, I would say I see God's handprint on Dr J very clearly!) I seriously regret moving to New York because I know I will never find a doctor like him again. I wish I would have put him as my primary care physician before I moved! I'm so bummed. Although it's not practical since he's a specialist, I'd be happy if I could see Dr. J for the rest of my life (and I'm really sad I can't.). I feel like he respected me more than my own friends! Haha. One final thing that shows his genuine care was that I was at the airport when he called (personally!!! Not his nurse!! I was floored) and I had to go through security. He waited on the phone for a minute while I scanned my ticket (I thought he'd hang up, since it was a weird time) just so he could tell me himself what happened. Who does that?! Is he real?! I still can't get over it. I wish there was a way beyond this survey I could tell him how much he means to me! He gave a voice to my pain that others belittled, a name for something hard in my own life and the confidence/kindness to empower me to work on it. Although it is "only physical" and not a life-threatening thing, I simply cannot put into words what a difference it makes when people treat you with undeserved kindness. I can't figure out how he's so amazing beyond that maybe one time in his life he had someone give that care to him, OR he grew up with a lack of that kind of intentional care and made it his life mission to never let someone else feel neglected again. If that second one is true, I hope he knows that he is simply incredible, not just for what he does, but who he is on the inside (and I barely know him!!). And, I hope he can feel satisfied knowing his work is NOT in vain, and it does not go unnoticed. He's my hero and I don't even want to work in the medical field! If there is ANYTHING else I can do to brag on him, I will!
