Nooreen Ibrahim, DPM

Medical School: Des Moines University

Nooreen Ibrahim, DPM was born and raised in Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she majored in neuroscience. She went to medical school at Des Moines University where she was a peer tutor, fitness instructor, participated in research and published an article.

Nooreen is happily married and enjoys spending time with her husband, reading and practicing Mixed Martial Arts.

Christopher Juels, DPM

Medical School: Des Moines University

Chris Juels, DPM was born and raised in a small town outside of Iowa City. He attended Beloit College in Wisconsin where he majored in chemistry and also played collegiate football. Chris then proceeded to attend Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. There he was a student tutor and involved with the Pi Delta honor society. He then joined St. Joseph Campus’ podiatry residency to pursue a surgical podiatric career.

Chris is married and loves to spend time with his wife and his dog Zoie. He also enjoys playing basketball, running, snowboarding, wakeboarding, exploring Milwaukee, and watching sports.

Brian Schenavar, DPM

SchenavarMedical School: Midwestern University, Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine

Brian Schenavar, DPM, was raised in Thompson Falls located in Northwest Montana. He attended the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota where he earned a bachelor of science in exercise science and participated on the University’s Track and Field team. Brian then moved to Arizona to attend podiatric medical school where he was an active member in American Podiatric Medical Student Association along with numerous professional student societies. Upon graduation, Brian was accepted into the St. Joseph Podiatric Residency program located in Milwaukee to continue his podiatric surgical training.
 
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is always excited with any opportunity he can get to enjoy the great outdoors boating, hiking, hunting and fishing.

Jonathan Shih, DPM

Medical School: Midwestern University of Arizona

Jonathan Shih, DPM was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri. He earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Southwest Baptist University, where he was a scholarship concertmaster violinist. Jonathan’s interest in foot and ankle began while working as an athletic training student with collegiate sports during his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University of Arizona.

Jonathan is an avid fly fisherman, and he also enjoys hiking, running, swimming, hunting, camping and following Mizzou athletics.

Garret Strand, DPM

GarretMedical School: Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine

Garret Strand was born and raised in Decorah, Iowa.  He attended The University of Iowa where he majored in Health Sciences and minored in English and Creative Writing. After college, Garret moved to Chicago where he attended medical school.  During that time, Garret served as the Student Body President and helped to establish the student run Interprofessional Community Clinic.  After graduating, Garret made the move to Milwaukee to join the St. Joseph Podiatric Residency Program. 

In his free time, Garret enjoys spending time outside by the lake, playing guitar, traveling with friends and family, and training for his next Ultra Marathon.

Anne Stroze, DPM

Medical School: Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine

Anne Stroze, DPM was raised in Wellington, Florida. She attended Florida State University where she majored in exercise science and was president of the university’s Student Association of Pre-Health Professionals. More importantly, she became a lifelong fan of the Seminoles. Anne then moved to Chicago where she attended medical school and served as president of her college’s chapter for the Pi Delta Honor Society. She spent an additional intern year of residency in Chicago and then moved to Milwaukee to join the St. Joseph Podiatric Residency program.

Outside of work Anne enjoys going to the gym, rock climbing, college football and spending free time volunteering at her family friend’s record and book store.
