Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital - St. Joseph Campus

Affectionately known as “The Baby Hospital”, Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital - St. Joseph Campus is a community teaching hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with extensive outpatient services, a bustling emergency department and nationally-awarded maternity and critical care services. Our hospital has been compassionately serving the community since 1879, with pharmacy residency training established in 2004. Pharmacy residents at Ascension St. Joseph Hospital are integral members of both the department and hospital and allow us to provide comprehensive pharmacy services to our patients.

Ascension St. Francis Hospital

Ascension St. Francis Hospital is a community hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which has been serving the community since 1956 while providing a scope of services including the latest in neurological disorders, cardiac care and orthopedics. The Pharmacy Residency Program at St. Francis Hospital is designed to develop independent, insightful practitioners who are effective members of health care teams and provide comprehensive pharmacy services as key members of the Pharmacy Department.

Ascension All Saints Hospital

Ascension All Saints Hospital is a 356-bed community hospital located in Racine, Wisconsin. Our comprehensive medical facility integrates the Pharmacy Department in every step of the medication-use process from general medicine to specialty areas including NICU/Pediatrics, Oncology, Medication Safety, Critical Care, Mental Health, Infectious Disease, Transitions of Care, and Emergency Medicine.

Our Pharmacy Residency Program provides residents the opportunity to learn in an atmosphere that promotes educational growth through shared respect, interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care. It is designed to develop independent-minded and forward-thinking practitioners seeking to advance the practice of pharmacy in a community hospital setting.

PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration

Ascension Wisconsin's PGY2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration is a multi-health system, statewide residency that includes: Ministry Health Care, Affinity Health Care, Columbia St. Mary's, and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.

This PGY2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration builds on the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in advanced or specialized practice. PGY2 residencies provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care that improves medication therapy.
