Wheaton Franciscan - St. Joseph Campus Ranked in Top 5 hospitals in Wisconsin by U.S. News and World Report

Milwaukee, WI - Wheaton Franciscan - St. Joseph Campus ranks No. 4 in a list of top hospitals in Wisconsin, and No. 3 in the Milwaukee metro area, according to the 2014-15 edition of U.S. News and World Report's Best Hospital guide.

The Top 5 Hospitals in Wisconsin are listed as follows:

  1. University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics
  2. Froedtert Hospital and Medical College of Wisconsin
  3. Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center
  4. Wheaton Franciscan-St. Joseph
  5. Aurora West Allis Medical Center

St. Joseph was also recognized in southeastern Wisconsin for 10 high-performing adult specialties:

  • Diabetes & Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology & GI Surgery
  • Geriatrics

The rankings are based on data collected from nearly 5,000 hospitals regarding 16 specialties and are aimed toward helping individuals who require a high level of care.

The System was started by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters more than 130 years ago and was formally incorporated in 1983. Corporate services offices are located in Wheaton, Illinois and Glendale, Wisconsin.
