New All Saints Cancer Center Opens

Center Designed to Meet Growing Needs, Better Support Care Delivery

The new All Saints Cancer Center in Racine, Wisconsin.
The signs are clear. We are beating cancer. While early detection, more effective treatments, and longer lives are clear victories, they also mean increased demand on our cancer care facility.

The new Cancer Center at All Saints opened on September 19, 2016 and is equipped to handle not only growing volumes, but it’s also designed to manage changes in the way care and support services are now delivered. The project more than doubles the previous center’s size and renovates existing space.

“Our cancer team provides exceptional care and this environment matches that quality,” says Susan Boland, President of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints.

“Our new center offers much-needed space, amenities, and comfort services that better accommodates our interdisciplinary team as they provide a full range of services for patients and families. And all of this is available close to home,” Boland says. “What is most important about this space is that it allows our patients and their families to focus on what’s most important – healing.”

A Patient's Perspective

Those advantages resonate for Steve Donovan, U.S. Bank Vice President, who has been treated at All Saints for lymphoma and a variety of other health concerns for more than a year now.

“Because I live and work in Racine, being able to drive five minutes to appointments and tests means I’ve been able to continue to work and make my life function well for me and my family," Steve says. "I could go anywhere, but I choose to have my care at All Saints. And I’ve had excellent experiences across the board.”

New Cancer Center Features

The new Cancer Center at All Saints features:

  • Private, semi-private, and open chemotherapy and infusion treatment areas
  • Committed space for patient and family education
  • Additional patient exam rooms
  • Tranquil indoor healing spaces and an outdoor terrace

“Far too often I’ve heard people who don’t realize the quality of care we have right here in our own backyard. I owe All Saints a lot,” Steve says.
