Ways to Give – The United Way Campaign
Did you know that last year, the United Way raised more than $52 million to help the community? Money raised was given to various organizations throughout the greater Milwaukee area to assist in producing significant and measurable results in the areas of education, income and health.
Did you know that Wheaton Franciscan – Elmbrook Memorial and St. Joseph Foundations can benefit from the United Way?
Through the Donor Choice Program, a donor can choose to designate their gift to various charities that are not already a United Way sponsored agency. The Elmbrook Memorial and St. Joseph Foundations are two that can benefit. Should you donate to the United Way, you have the option of writing in either organization on the Donor Choice form, and your gift will be earmarked to support the works of our foundations.
In addition, if you work for a federal agency that participates in the Combined Federal Campaign Fund, Wheaton Franciscan – St. Joseph Foundation is an approved charity in which you can designate your gift. Much like the Donor Choice program, should you choose to donate to the St. Joseph Foundation, simply write in our name on the pledge form and we will receive your gift.
The United Way is an important organization in our community. In the past three years, the United Way has granted $185,000 to the Wheaton Franciscan – St. Joseph Women’s Outpatient Center. We are pleased to partner with them and appreciate all they do for the families in Milwaukee and the surrounding area. Regardless of where you designate your gift, if you participate in the United Way campaign, please give generously.
