Associates Help with Fundraising Efforts!

Mission PossibleMission Possible is a way for associates to give back to their favorite Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Foundation fund or community organization. While not all pledges have been tallied yet, southeastern Wisconsin associates have contributed nearly $400,000 since September.

Some of the funds available to support through Mission Possible include: the Franklin Community Wellness Fund, the Mother Angela Patient Safety Net Fund and the Dan Mattes Innovation and Technology Fund.

The Franklin Community Wellness Fund provides the building blocks to make our associates, patients and neighbors in the Franklin community healthier, now and into the future. Specifically, it provides funding for health education and community-strengthening projects.

One exciting project is the Franklin Walking Path that will serve as a destination for individuals to stroll as they take in the beauty and serene setting the path will offer, winding around Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Franklin. The walking path will also feature amenities such as fitness clusters, mile markers and sitting benches. Most of all though, it will be a destination for health – a place to breathe deeply, exercise the spirit and body, and create calm in the lives of those who utilize the path. This is just one of many funds supported by Wheaton associates.

In addition to making financial gifts, our associates volunteer their time throughout the Milwaukee community. From assisting at walks and runs, sorting food at local pantries, adopting a highway and collecting school supplies for children in need, our associates consistently give back in many ways. Together, we make our community stronger, healthier and better.
