Beyond working to fulfill our Mission on a daily basis, our Values compel us to share our talents and resources in an even greater way to benefit the many communities we serve. In fiscal 2011, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare contributed more than $148 million to our communities.
Part of that contribution included financial support to community groups and non-profit organizations for charitable purposes.
Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare accepts requests from individuals and organizations for support of various charitable activities – or community sponsorships – on a monthly basis. Requests are due the last day of each month.
Criteria for support
Limited resources preclude us from being able to approve all requests for support. In general, our Community Sponsorships team considers requests for financial support of events and activities that:
- Are consistent with our Health Care Mission:
- Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare is committed to living out the healing ministry of Jesus by providing exceptional and compassionate health care service that promotes the dignity and well being of the people we serve.
- Are health care related.
- Further important work related to diversity and inclusion of people from all walks of life and socio-economic status.
How to submit a request
Requests for support of an event or activity that is consistent with the criteria outlined above should be made using the following
Request for Support form.
Forms must be received by the last day of the month for review the following month.
All requests submitted in writing (or through the form here on our website) are acknowledged with a letter either approving or denying the request.
