What’s near Wheaton Franciscan – St. Joseph Campus
Located in the heart of Milwaukee, Wheaton Franciscan – St. Joseph Campus is in the Sherman Park neighborhood, a diverse residential neighborhood, with restaurants, shopping, and lodging all within a short drive. You’ll also find many houses of worship for different faiths all within a short distance from the hospital.

Restaurants
You’ll find a variety of family dining restaurants all along Capitol Drive and other major cross streets between 51st Street and Appleton Avenue. Many are part of national chains, but others reflect local ownership and home cooking.
In nearby Wauwatosa, local favorites such as City Market and Il Mito are on North Avenue, and the village’s downtown area is home to a variety of dining establishments featuring family, Italian, Belgian/Dutch, and coffee shop-type menus.
You’ll also find a variety of national and local restaurants on the campus of Mayfair Mall, which is only minutes away on Hwy 100/Mayfair Road. Enjoy national chain restaurants such as Maggiano’s, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, The Cheesecake Factory, McCormick and Schmick, and Applebee’s.
