Pharmacy Practice Residency Program
Residency Requirements
Expectations to be completed during Residency Year:
- Licensure in the state of Wisconsin by September 1st
- Conduct a year-long project related to the practice of pharmacy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Resident attendance at every cardiac/respiratory arrest while onsite
- Attendance at Milwaukee City-Wide Residency Conferences
- Attendance and presentation at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting
- Attendance and presentation at the Great Lakes Pharmacy Resident Conference
- Serve as a preceptor for IPPE and APPE students

- Adult Intensive Care
- Neonatal Intensive Care
- Emergency Medicine
- Cardiology
- Medical/Surgical
- Drug Policy
- Pharmacy Administration
- Anemia Clinic (Ambulatory)
Elective Opportunities:
- Cardiovascular Surgery
- Medication Safety
- Academia at Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy
Staffing:
- Two eight-hour shifts every other weekend
Number of Positions:
- Four PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residents
