Clinical Trials Test New Treatments and Search for Answers

Wheaton Franciscan-St. Joseph Campus is proud to offer patients a wide variety of clinical trials to answer specific research questions about various health issues. These trials test new treatments for safety and effectiveness and search for ways to help or improve health, or prevent illness. Participation in clinical trials is optional.

Who Can Participate?
All clinical trials have guidelines about who can participate and participation in a trial is optional. Factors that can be considered are age, gender, the type and stage of a disease, previous treatment history and other medical conditions.
