Support Groups & Resources

There are many places you or loved one can turn to for help and support during treatment and recovery. Wheaton Franciscan Mental Health and Addiction Care recommends the following community resources for information:

Support Groups

Join a support group, attend an educational program or register for an upcoming event to complement your treatment and recovery. To learn more about our support groups and when they meet next, view our calendar.

Addiction Recovery Treatment Group

Get the support and tools you need to achieve and maintain a positive, healthy and sober life. In this group you'll learn to identify triggers, urges and cravings; develop motivation and action plans; and gain strength and encouragement from peers.

Schedule: Wednesdays from 4:30-6 pm

Anxiety Therapy Group

Men and women who experience general anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, perfectionism or mild post-traumatic issues are invited to join the Anxiety Therapy Group.

Schedule: Mondays from 5:30-7 pm
Location: Brookfield, WI

Additional Support Groups

Additional support groups meet weekly at the Wheaton Franciscan Center for Addiction Recovery in Racine, including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous.
