Occupational therapists help people with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities to lead independent, productive and satisfying lives. In order to maximize independent function in the home and community, therapy focuses on self-care training and education.
Our Services
Services are available at all Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Rehabilitation Services locations, and include:
- Adaptive equipment recommendations and usage training
- Assistance with balance and coordination
- Comprehensive home and job site evaluations with adaptation recommendations
- Customized treatment programs to improve one's ability to perform daily activities
- Motor-control training
- Function-based cognitive and perceptual training
