Golf Performance Program
Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare offers a Golf Performance Program individually designed to help you feel better
and play better. This complete golf health and training program combines hands-on body work and proven, customized
golf-specific exercises.
Program Specifics
Our golf fitness specialist designs a customized program to help participants reach optimum flexibility,
range of motion, mobility and strength so they can achieve a consistent, safe and repeatable golf swing. We help
you to achieve greater accuracy and consistency in your game.
There are four components to the golf program:
- Flexibility: to increase ability of all joints to move in a full range of motion in all three directions of motion; this increases rotation for a full turn and reduces the risk of injury.
- Stability: to increase balance and control for a more consistent swing
- Optimum Strength: to increase the ideal level of strength that an individual needs to perform functional activities
- Power: the key to longer drives
Who would benefit from this program?
- Virtually any golfer
- Golfers with a previous injury or those who are looking to avoid a golf related injury
- Players who are working with a golf pro but just can't seem to get into the right positions or achieve the consistency they are looking for
- Golfers looking for more distance
- Big hitters looking for more consistency
- Players who just find it physically difficult to finish 18 holes
The Golf Performance Program is offered at the St. Francis Hospital Medical Arts Pavilion and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (414) 647-7678 for St. Francis or (262) 687-6550 for All Saints.
