Fluoroscopy

Family-Centered Maternity Care

Fluoroscopy is like a moving x-ray. It uses a steady stream of radiation to watch a part of your body in motion. Images are displayed on a television-like monitor, allowing your doctor to see how your organs or other body parts move. For instance, fluoroscopy may be used to track the movement of a material through your esophagus, stomach and intestines.

If you have questions about an upcoming fluoroscopy exam, please visit our locations page for the location nearest you.
