Our oncology social workers, patient navigator, nutrition counselors and spiritual service chaplains work closely with our expert oncologists, specially-trained certified oncology nurses and radiation therapists, to provide a total program of support that embraces each patient and family. With cancer, the body undergoes changes due to treatment as well as the disease, and must be nourished properly to remain strong. Our oncology dietitians are trained to understand this complex process, and provide nutrition assessments and counseling to our patients, working closely with our medical team to pinpoint opportunities for nutritional intervention and support.
