Oak Creek Public Library Health Education Series

Oak Creek Public LibraryWheaton Franciscan Healthcare is partnering with the new Oak Creek Library on a series of FREE health education programs throughout the year. As a sponsor of the new library, our goal is to provide health education to help you with fitness, nutrition, learn ways to improve your well-being and live a healthier life.

All programs will be held in the Community Room on the first floor at the Oak Creek Library, 8040 S. 6th Street, adjacent to the new City Hall. All programs are free, but registration is required.

Need some creative ideas for healthier, more nutritious eating, that also happen to be delicious? Join us and learn how to easily increase the nutritional value of meals by making easy changes to family favorites.

Stress & Headaches: What’s the Connection?

Stress is a common cause of headaches. And in addition to being annoying, headaches can even become debilitating if experienced often. Learn how stress can trigger headaches, and find out about different types of headaches and how they can affect your work, sleep patterns and even your personality and behavior.
