Information Desk(s)
Answer information calls and direct patients and visitors. (Sun. - Sat.)
ICU Waiting Room
Provide an avenue of communication between staff and family members/visitors. (Sun. - Sat.)
NICU - 3rd Floor Information Station
Direct patients and visitors from the 3rd floor parking structure to the South Tower and main hospital. Assist with clerical projects for staff. (Mon - Fri, 8 am - 4 pm)
Nursing Unit Assistance
Provide general assistance in an assigned patient care department.
HELP (Hospital Elder Life Program)
Assist inpatient seniors in maintaining their physical and cognitive function throughout their hospital stay through bedside activities and socialization. (Mon - Fri 9 am - 1 pm, 12 noon - 4 pm, 3 pm - 7 pm, Sat. 9 am - 1 pm, 12 noon - 4 pm)
Infant Nurturer
Provide comfort and caring to an assigned infant throughout the infant's hospital stay, 18 years or older. (One hour, two or more days per week. Flexible times.)
4 and 5 south - (post-partum)
Assist staff in providing general support on the unit, discharge mothers and babies, answer call lights. (Sun. - Sat., 8 am - 8 pm.)
4 and 5 south - family care

NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Provide comfort and caring to NICU infants and general assistance to staff. (Sun. - Sat., 8 am - 8 pm.)
Inpatient Rehab
Assist patients with social interaction and transport between therapy. sessions. (M--F, 9 am - 12 noon, 1 - 3 pm.)
Peer Visitation
Visit and share experiences with patients who are experiencing similar health issues that you have experienced. (Flexible)
Physical Medicine
Escort patients and provide general assistance in Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. (Mom - Fri, 8 am - 4 pm)
Pet Therapy
Bring your trained pet therapy dog to interact with patients on the Rehab unit. (Days and times may vary.)
Homecraft
Knit, crochet, or sew special items for Special Care babies or sew special seasonal items for patients. Patterns provided.
Sterile Processing
Assist in the collection, sorting, cleaning, and assembling of patient care supplies.
Cafeteria Assistance
Assist staff with cleaning tables and replenishing condiments. (Daily 8 am -10 am, 11 am-1 pm)
Time to Knit Teacher
Assist nursing staff with providing divisional craft activities for high risk pregnant patients who are bedridden for long periods of time. Teach knitting and crocheting projects to female patients. Training and materials provided. (Flexible)
Mailroom
Sort and distribute mail to hospital departments and the Professional Office Building.
Clerical
Assist departments in a variety of clerical/receptionist tasks including answering telephones, filing, copying, collating, sorting, mailing projects and light typing:
Special Projects
Provide clerical or project assistance to departments needing help with mailing and collating projects. (Flexible, Mon - Fri, day shift)
Steering Committee
Participate in the planning and implementation of Partners projects and programs. (3rd Tuesday of month, 1 - 2:30 pm)
Gift Shop
Sell boutique items to patients, staff, and visitors. (Mon - Fri, 8:30 am - 7 pm, Sat. and Sun. 11:30 am - 3:30 pm).
Fund Raising
Assist in the facilitation of fund raising sales. (i.e. payroll deductions for employees who purchase these items) and other duties as assigned.
