School of Radiologic Technology

Radiologic Technologists use X-rays to create images of the human body.  These images are reviewed and interpreted by radiologists, physicians specializing in the use of ionizing radiation, to diagnose medical injuries and diseases.

Consider a Career In Radiology

A radiation technologist's primary concern when performing medical imaging procedures is to assess the patient’s condition and adhere to the principles of radiation protection for the patient, themselves, and others. These clinical professionals work with patients of all ages and may perform radiologic exams in hospital radiology departments and emergency trauma center, surgery, and intensive care units, medical clinics, or private doctor, chiropractic and dental offices.
