St. Francis - Emergency Services and Urgent Care

Renovation and expansion of the St. Francis Emergency Department is complete. With 11 new treatment rooms, the size of the department almost doubled. Our goal is to put patients directly into treatment rooms, minimizing or eliminating wait times. When every second counts, you can feel confident that you will receive appropriate care and fast test results.

The new ER at St. Francis is designed for speed, accuracy and safety for every type of emergency, whether you have a cut, cough or chest pain.  Our board certified emergency medicine physicians, and highly trained nurses and staff will treat you quickly and with the kind of care you expect to receive at your community hospital.

St. Francis is accredited as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission. This designation signifies to you that we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art stroke care from admission to discharge and that we are committed to improving outcomes for our all of our stroke patients.

The Society of Chest Pain Centers awarded Chest Pain Accreditation to St. Francis. This means we are able to reduce time to treatment during the critical early stages of a heart attack and better monitor patients to determine whether they are having a heart attack.
