Family and friends play an important role in the healing process. However long or short your stay, you’ll find Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - Franklin offers a soothing, healing environment for both patients and their visitors. From the soft natural lighting, to the comfortable furniture, the entire hospital has been designed to make your experience as positive and stress-free as possible.

Visiting Hours

While we encourage your visit, we also need to ensure all patients receive the rest necessary for a speedy recovery. Recommended visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

Patient visitation between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. is limited to emergencies as determined by the staff participating in patient care. Anyone visiting under these circumstances must obtain an after hours visitor pass from the Security Department.

For the safety of our patients, visitors who have symptoms of a cold, flu or other respiratory illness are encouraged to refrain from visiting patients until symptoms subside. Patients have the right to decide who can and cannot visit. If you have special concerns, please discuss this with your caregiver.

Complimentary Valet Service and Concierge

Simply pull up to Franklin’s main entrance on South 27th Street, and we'll take it from there. Professional valet drivers will safely park your car and will retrieve it upon your return. Let us escort you to where you need to be. Valet parking and concierge services are available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Emergency Department

Emergency Department visitors are welcome 24 hours a day. Patients seeking emergency care often require prompt medical attention, which could delay immediate visitation. Emergency Department staff may exercise the right to limit the number of visitors.

Walk-In Care

Walk-in Care services are available to treat minor illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages. Common conditions that can be treated included earaches, flu, muscle strains, sore throat and small bone fractures. Hours are: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Closed Holidays)

Pharmacy

A full-service retail pharmacy is available just inside the main entrance. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff provides prompt, personal attention and assistance for your health questions and concerns. The pharmacy is open Monday – Friday, 8:30a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Café

The Café offers a variety of menu items so you can relax and enjoy a healthy meal. When time is short, take advantage of our Grab and Go cooler, it’s filled with salads, sandwiches and tempting desserts. Daily 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Gift Shop

A variety of beautiful items – ranging from gifts and aromatherapy products, to magazines, cards, and much more are available in the gift shop.

Prayer Room

All visitors are encouraged to stop in the Prayer Room to pause for a moment of stillness or prayer.

Conference Center

Our conference room will be the location for a wide array of community health education programs.
