Skin and Laser Services are available at Elmbrook Memorial’s Pavlic Center. All procedures are performed by experienced, laser certified Registered Nurses, within a professional medical setting.
Consultations are free of charge. We invite you to come meet with our Skin and Laser RN’s to discuss your concerns and explore your options.
Skin Rejuvenation/Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical exfoliating procedure performed by a Registered Nurse specializing in skin care that helps to revitalize the skin. This procedure can help to feather out fine lines and wrinkles, improve dull and uneven skin tones, smooth out rough patches, lighten or eliminate minor scarring and aid in treating acne prone skin.
Laser Hair Removal
Using the Lightsheer Diode Laser Hair Removal, the latest FDA approved technology in laser light, laser energy is focused directly on a hair follicle. The laser light is pulsed for a series of fractions of seconds and is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. The duration of each pulse is just long enough to damage the hair follicle and retard or prevent future hair growth.
Spider Veins of the Face or Legs
Spider veins are small red, pink and/or blue blood vessels that appear most frequently on the face and legs. Using a special hand-held laser, a Registered Nurse delivers pulses of light energy which causes the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessels. The laser treats the targeted vessels, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. These treatments usually take several minutes, depending on the number of vessels treated and their location. Severe cases of spider veins or varicose veins can be referred to a physician who specializes in the latest treatments of these issues.

- Skin irregularities such as moles, tags and lesions

Indulge yourself with our variety of skin care treatments including facials, body treatments and waxing. Experience one of our Relaxation, Microdermabrasion or Exfoliation Facials or choose to relax your body and mind with a full body treatment. All services are performed by a licensed aesthetician.
Professional and medical grade skincare products are available for purchase. A free skin consultation by one of our RN’s is performed before initial purchase to determine recommended type and strength of products to best meet your specific skin care needs.
