This remarkable facility opened five years ago and is designed to make you feel better from the moment you walk in the door. Nestled in 55 wooded acres on 27th Street and Oakwood Avenue (1 1/2 miles south of Ryan Rd.) in Franklin, Wisconsin, the five-story facility offers you the convenience of a full-service hospital with extraordinary patient satisfaction.
Design of the hospital
We understand that health care procedures can be stressful. So we designed a facility with your comfort and healing in mind, and you can see that thoughtfulness in every detail. Expansive windows and tall ceilings allow for natural lighting to flood each area. Home-like furnishings in numerous lounges scattered throughout the facility give patients and visitors additional comfort. Our private rooms are equipped with private bathrooms. These rooms are large enough to easily accommodate family members and visitors. Windows overlook our 55 acres of beautiful, natural landscape. Each room also includes Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV.
The building may be new, but the staff is seasoned. Every nurse is certified in advanced cardiac life support training and has, on average, 16+ years of experience. All of our physicians are board certified in their discipline and the physicians staffing the Emergency Department are residency trained in emergency medicine. This expertise, combined with knowledge, skill, and compassion of the ancillary staff, gives you the confidence you expect in a respected, full-service hospital.
High patient satisfaction scores
Our patient satisfaction scores are higher than any other hospital in Metro Milwaukee, according to HCAPS Data found on www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov. It’s thanks to shorter wait times in our Emergency Department, effective communication with doctors and nurses, and patients who recommend this hospital over and over again to friends and family.
Inpatient and outpatient services
We have a total of 32 rooms, which includes a six-bed Intensive Care Unit. The hospital provides a full range of inpatient and day surgery services, as well as:
- 24/7 Emergency Department
- Urgent Care
- Physicians’ offices*
- Walk-in care
- Gift shop
- Conference center
*In June 2013, the primary care and specialty physicians will be moving into our new three-story Medical Office Building on the grounds of the hospital. This move will make room for the growth and expansion of the hospital, which will include a new cath lab and 20 additional inpatient rooms.
