Urgent Care/ Walk-in Care for Non-Life Threatening Conditions
The Franklin Hospital Emergency Department/Urgent Care is on the first floor of the hospital. Urgent Care is located within the Emergency Department and is open 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. (including holidays.) Surface parking is available right in front of the entrance.
Urgent Care is staffed by our board certified emergency physicians and physician assistants, registered nurses and emergency department technicians.
Walk-in care provides care for patients with non-life-threatening conditions and is also staffed by our board-certified physicians, registered nurses and technicians. Please note our new location for Walk-in Care.
All of these professionals are experienced in treating patients with urgent as well as emergency health conditions using the latest technology available.
Walk-in Care has moved
The Walk-in Clinic is now located in the new Medical Office Building, 9969 S. 27th St. on the second floor. Walk-in hours are Monday-Friday 9 am - 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am - 4 pm.
Non-emergency conditions we treat include:
- Muscle strain/sprain
- Sore throat
- Skin rash
- Urinary pain
- Simple cuts
- Pink eye
- Small bone fracture (toe, finger)
- Mild/moderate shortness of breath
- Mild/moderate aches and pains
Urgent care conditions we treat include:
- All conditions listed under Walk-in Care above:
- Back and dental pain
- Drainage of abscesses, boils, and foreign body removal
- Medication refills
- Removal of stitches
- Minor strains, sprains, abrasions and small burns
Urgent and walk-in care are not meant to replace care provided by a primary care physician. Instead, these services should be used when your primary care physician is not available.
