Private patient rooms
However long or short your stay, you’ll find Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Franklin offers a soothing, healing environment for both patients and their visitors. From the soft natural lighting to the comfortable furniture, the entire hospital has been designed to make your experience as positive and stress-free as possible.
All patient rooms are private with:
- A private bathroom and shower
- Free wireless Internet connection
Our room service program lets you select your meal from the menu in your room. Just call nutrition services, and we’ll deliver your meal to your room. Guest trays are available upon request.
Complementary valet service
Simply pull up to our main entrance on South 27th Street, and we'll take it from there. Professional valet drivers will safely park your car and will get it for you when you return. Let us escort you to where you need to be.
Valet parking is available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
You may request a free Milwaukee Journal Sentinel when you call to order your breakfast through room service.
Mail and flowers
- Your mail will be delivered to your room on weekdays. Mail received after your discharge will be forwarded to your home.

Care management services and Advance Directives
Nurse case managers and social workers will help you and your family deal with ongoing health care needs as well as social, emotional, financial, and other issues related to your medical conditions and procedures. They will also help you complete an Advance Directive.
A full-service, outpatient pharmacy is just inside our main entrance.

The Café offers a variety of menu items so you can relax and enjoy a healthy meal. If you’re running short on time, take advantage of our “grab and go” cooler. It’s filled with salads, sandwiches, and tempting desserts.
The full service Café is open Monday through Friday: 7 am – 6 pm
The grill and “grab and go” cooler is open on Saturday and Sunday: 11 am – 6 pm
A variety of beautiful items – ranging from gifts and aromatherapy products, to magazines, cards, and much more – are available in the gift shop.
Monday through Friday: 8:30 am – 5 pm.
All visitors are encouraged to stop in the quiet and comforting Prayer Room to pause for a moment of stillness, reflection, or prayer.
Chaplains are available 24-7 for your spiritual needs.
We have specially-designed lounge areas for visitors on each patient floor and in the main lobby. Specific waiting areas have been designated for families of patients in ICU and in surgery.
We have free Wi-Fi access throughout the hospital. Bring your own laptop or PDA and enjoy the Web for free.
