Joint Commission accreditation
Franklin is fully accredited by the Joint Commission, an independent, not-for-profit organization that sets national health care standards and has been accrediting health care facilities since 1951.
Patient satisfaction scores at the Franklin hospital have ranked in the top 10% of the nation since we opened our doors in 2008. This has been true for every department throughout the hospital where patient satisfaction data has been collected, including the Emergency Department, surgery, food service, and radiology to name a few.
According to data released by Hospital Care Quality Information from the Consumer Perspective (HCAHPS), Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – Franklin patient satisfaction scores were higher than any other hospital in Metro Milwaukee from April 2009 – March 2010. This is a result of our:
- Commitment to our excellent communication with our patients
- Friendly staff
- Short wait times
- And yes, even our outstanding hospital food
Many of the physicians on staff at Franklin are consistently ranked among the best doctors in the Greater Milwaukee area by Milwaukee Magazine
, the Business Journal, M Magazine,
and Biz Times Milwaukee
