Dr. Shimshak subsequently furthered his cardiovascular training with an advanced angioplasty fellowship at the Mid America Heart Institute (MAHI) in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Shimshak's clinical practice is devoted to coronary and peripheral intervention. He is an active participant in clinical research and an investigator in numerous clinical trials. A frequent course director, proctor and lecturer, he also serves on several clinical advisory boards and is the author of numerous publications in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Shimshak was named as a Top Doctor for 2009 in The Business Journal of Milwaukee.
