Patient to doctor time is kept very limited. It has gotten more impersonal. Not sure Laguna really knows me as a person.

I miss having more time to chat with my physician. she seems hurried. I don't believe she knows anything about me except for test results. she's competent, but somewhat remote.

Would like to be treated like a well rounded, educated person and not just a patient to be looked at within my allotted time.

Gone are the days when the practitioner really gets to know the patient; I feel like we are herded in and out quickly. My practitioner has never asked me a personal question about my family, my job, my hopes and dreams. I feel like I am only a body. Perhaps clinicians are expected to service too many clients Ina given amount of time? There is a lot of research surrounding practitioner/client trust and the efficacy of that bond.
