Dr Cuevas has been my oncologist since my first breast cancer in 2010. When I found out I had a reoccurence in 2016 Dr Cuevas is who I wanted to go to. He is very professional & caring. This visit was a recheck of a blood clot I developed. He gave me all my options & the pros/cons of each of them. With chemo you get chemo brain (yes it's something). I was suffering from it bad that day. Dr Cuevas took the time & let me repeat what was said, so my brain could compute what was said. It's assuring that you have a Dr that understands what it takes to a patient to understand what was said & the care they just received. I have always had that with Dr Cuevas

This is the most serious illness for which I've ever seen a doctor. Dr. Cuevas educated me about my cancer in detail and made a plan that put me at ease

I did not take his recommendation on medication and things were contentious from there on.

As this was my first time seeing Dr. Curvas the information he gave me was wrong at first?? He did not read the results he received fully, he just read the top of the page?? He said I did not have cancel at first, he did an exam said I seemed ok?? until he returned to the room he seen I was reading my results from my Doctor I was looking at with my husband that he noticed that the results were positive to lymphoma cancer?? He than read the rest of his notes and said I did have cancer?? I believe a Doctor should review any new patients information before meeting them!!!!
