Douglas Sauter, MD, FACS

Specialties: General Surgery, Vascular Surgery
“Having been raised in a surgeon’s family, I learned that the goal of care for patients was to guide them to a treatment with which they understand and feel comfortable. There is often apprehension in seeing a surgeon, but I strive to help my patients understand the current and most reliable treatment options available in surgery. I believe in taking time with patients to explain what they can expect from the surgical procedure that is being considered and why it is the recommended course of treatment. With this approach, I expect to obtain the best results for my patients and help them reduce their worries.”
