Medical Oncology

The Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group is currently recruiting for a full-time medical oncologist to join a group of two Physicians in the new All Saints Cancer Center opening Sept. 19, 2016. The oncology services at All Saints hospital are in the expansion mode with the doubling in size of the Cancer Center at the main campus in Racine, Wisconsin.

Opportunity

  • 4 full-day clinic practice typically seeing 15 to 25 patients per day at one location
  • Variable clinic schedule typically running from 8 am - 5 pm
  • Rounding on 2 - 6 inpatients in the acute care hospital setting, easily accessible from the Cancer Center and supported by employed hospitalist physicians
  • Call:
    • Cover own call on scheduled work days
    • Weekend rotation among 3 physicians
    • Days off covered by other medical oncologists
  • An integrated delivery system with 150 employed providers (about 50 primary care) on the main campus and satellite clinics
  • An interdisciplinary support team of healthcare professionals, including oncology nurses, patient navigators, spiritual care, social workers, therapists, certified dieticians, pharmacists and financial advocates
  • An active clinical trials program with dedicated staff and noted affiliations with ECOG, RTOG, NSAPB, GOG and pharmaceutical studies

Hospitalist/Internal Medicine

Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group
