Job Shadow Program
(Observation Only – "No Hands On")
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare welcomes the opportunity to provide you with a Shadow Experience within our health care system.
It is important to understand this experience offers you the opportunity to OBSERVE a member of our health care staff performing an occupation that interests you, the functioning of a particular department and/or the integration of an occupation or department within a healthcare system. (Please note that physician job shadows at our Milwaukee locations are coordinated through the Medical Staff Office). Also, please be advised that this is a one time only, short term (no more than an 8 hour shift) opportunity.
Under these guidelines, you will not be allowed to participate in patient care activities, operate equipment, access patient or other records or perform any other “Hands on” functions.
PRIOR TO SCHEDULING
Prior to scheduling a date for your Shadow Experience, you must complete the Shadow Agreement and the physician examination form and submit the signed agreement along with documentation for the Health Requirements listed on page 2 to:
