Pregnancy & Birthing

Our Neonatologists are Specially Trained for Complex Newborn Care

Primary care physicians and pediatricians can handle most of the health problems newborns might have. For especially complex or high-risk situations, All Saints offers board certified neonatologists.

If your newborn is premature or has a serious illness, injury or birth defect, a neonatologist may assist with the delivery and care of your newborn in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). If a problem is identified before your baby is born, a neonatologist may partner with your obstetrician or perinatologist to care for your baby during your pregnancy.

All Saints partners with Advocate Medical Group to provide neonatologists that are in the hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Founded in 1980, Advocate Medical Group consists of a group of pediatricians and subspecialists and is one of the leading medical group practices in Chicago. Our neonatologists work with your baby’s primary care physician or pediatrician to coordinate your baby’s care.
