Healthy Executive Program

Your health is vital to your career
At Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, we are committed to wellness - encouraging individuals to lead healthier lives, both at home and at work. That’s why we developed Wheaton Franciscan Healthy Connections and the Healthy Executive Program.

Our Healthy Executive Program aims to:
  • Target, reduce and eliminate health risks;
  • Discover potential health problems;
  • Promote wellness; and
  • Facilitate prompt, expert and compassionate treatment.
All Saints offers a comfortable atmosphere, giving you the personalized and comprehensive attention you desire. Your test results and health recommendations will be compiled, and our staff will help you prioritize changes in your lifestyle and outline a plan to help prevent future problems.

Our Healthy Executive Program includes:
  • A complete and comprehensive medical history and physical examination by a Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group specialist in Adult (Internal) Medicine, with referrals to other specialists as necessary.
  • A full range of preventive screening tests for early detection of cancer, heart disease,and other serious problems.
  • A cardiovascular fitness evaluation.
  • A review and update of medications and immunizations, including those needed for international travel.
  • A lifestyle assessment to discuss approaches to nutrition, stress management, alcohol, tobacco, personal safety and other indicators of disease risk.
  • A complete report of your test results on the day of your examination.
Healthy executive physical
Your personal executive physical includes a detailed history and exam that provides the basis for all other testing. We will take as much time as needed to gain a thorough understanding of your lifestyle. You are encouraged to discuss any health questions or concerns at this time.

Your basic examination and testing are usually completed within one day. If additional consultations or examinations are needed or desired, part of an additional day may be required.

Scheduling appointments
Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare schedules Healthy Executive Program appointments approximately three months in advance; however, we may be able to accommodate a shorter time frame dependent upon physician scheduling. Appointments can be scheduled up to one year in advance.

We will provide medical questionnaires before your appointment for you to complete and return. This allows us to prepare a schedule of tests before you arrive.

A typical visit
On the morning of your visit, you will meet with your coordinating physician for a thorough review of your medical, family and social history. Your physician will then perform a complete physical examination. You and your physician will discuss your scheduled appointments and any additional tests your doctor may deem appropriate based on your evaluation.

You will spend the rest of the day at different testing areas. After completing your itinerary, you will meet with your coordinating physician to review and discuss the test results. At that time, your coordinating physician may give you additional recommendations for treatment, care or follow-up. A written report summarizing your results will be mailed to you shortly after your final visit.

Preparing for a visit
It will be necessary for you to abstain from alcohol for 72 hours prior and to fast for 12 hours prior to your physical. Dress casually and comfortably. Sneakers are recommended, as a treadmill test may be part of the evaluation.

Once your appointment has been scheduled, you will be asked to call our Patient Registration Department at (262) 687-7700. Insurance information will be requested; however, the cost of your physical will be paid by your employer, not your insurance company. You will be greeted for your appointment at a designated entrance by the program coordinator.
