Anger Management: How to Survive in the Workplace
Anger is a natural human emotion…it’s what you DO with your anger that can make or break you. This interactive workshop helps you identify your personal anger triggers and the feelings that cause them. You will learn effective strategies to recognize anger-producing situations and address them in a healthy, constructive manner. You will also learn how to de-escalate a situation when you are confronted by an angry person. This is generally a 2 hour workshop. $200 per hour; no minimum.
Assertive Communication Skills in the Workplace
This eye-opening workshop defines the four basic styles of communication, helps you identify the various characteristics of each, and helps you recognize your own communication style and those of your co-workers. Upon completion of this seminar, you will have the skills to be assertive in the most difficult circumstances, confront conflicts with ease and self-confidence, as well as apply de-escalation strategies for aggressive behaviors. This is generally a 2 hour workshop. $200 per hour; no minimum.
Let’s face it…the majority of people would rather avoid conflict and hope it will go away, rather than confront it directly. However, avoiding conflict can have serious, long-term negative consequences. Each Conflict Resolution presentation is tailored to your company’s specific concerns and needs. A few sample topics include: educating staff about the costs of conflicts and benefits of conflict resolution; 10 steps to conflict resolution and how to apply those steps in the “real world”; and effective strategies for dealing with the following three specific conflict situations: Employee/Employee, Supervisor/Employee, and Department/Department. Please note that this is more of a training session and usually runs 2-4 hours. This session is targeted for employees who understand the basic skills for assertive communication but want to improve their ability to recognize and manage their emotions in order to strengthen relationships and increase motivation and productivity. Managing Multiple Priorities
This interactive session begins with an assessment of your current work/home life balance and helps you recognize how effectively managing stress can be significantly beneficial in increasing your quality of life. You will learn effective stress management techniques that easily fit into your lifestyle. We will discuss a variety of communication skills and practice how to successfully and comfortably use assertive communication skills with anyone, anytime, anywhere. Finally, we will explore strategic skill-building exercises in time management and organizational skills. Upon completion of this program, attendees will have an effective and practical strategies "toolbox" available for immediate use in both their personal and professional life. This program requires a minimum of four hours and can expand to a program of up to eight hours depending on the depth of coverage. $200 per hour; no minimum.
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn what the true “color” of their personality is and how to value the differences of their associates. This program will foster improved communication, teambuilding, and leadership skills by enhancing the understanding of how to draw upon the strengths of their team members. Please note that there is a cost of $20 per person for supplies plus $100 per hour. Minimum of 15 participants.
