General Surgery at All Saints

General Surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal organs, including the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel, liver, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, breast, hernias and peripheral vascular disorders.

At All Saints, many of our general surgeries are performed using minimally invasive techniques. Minimally invasive procedures use cameras and small instruments inserted through tiny incisions, often now just three to five tiny incisions roughly the size of a pencil eraser. For example, the spleen, gallbladder, appendix and small and large bowel can all be removed using this technique. View a complete list of minimally invasive surgeries.
