Concerts in the Park Series Kicks Off in June 2013

Don't Miss this Summer's Series that Kicks off Wednesday, June 26

The 16th annual Wheaton Franciscan - St. Joseph Campus Concerts in the Park series is held every other Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm. You won't want to miss this summer's selections: 

June 26: Love, Peace and Soul

Back for a second year, Love, Peace and Soul takes you to the good old days with their smooth sounds of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Playing what they call "grown folks' music," this group provides relief from today's stressful world as you relax with tunes like "I'll Be Around," "Ain't No Stopping Us Now," and "Jack and Jill."

July 10: Groove Therapy

Groove Therapy is a classic horn band featuring an engaging vocal duo, driving rhythm section, and powerhouse horn section. Covering Soul, Motown, Funk, and Classic Rock through today’s hits, Groove Therapy’s high energy and authentic sound delivers a dynamic experience that’s sure to please audiences of all ages!

July 24: The Noyz Boyz and Gyrlz

This 10-piece horn band belts out classics of rock and rhythm and blues from the late 50s through the 90s. Dance to hits by Elvis, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, Billy Joel and more.

August 7: The Mr. Lucky Sundicate

Two-time WAMI Swing Band of the Year, The Syndicate's sound electrifies the room with everything from R&B to Swing and Latin. You'll find pop tunes that sizzle, classic tunes that warm the night like fine cognac, and fiery rock that'sll toast bread at 50 paces.

Concerts are held in Sr. Jeanne Gengler Park, located at 50th and Burleigh. All concerts are free and open to the public -- free parking is also available in the Wheaton Franciscan - St. Joseph Campus parking structure at 51st and Burleigh.
