Racine, Wisconsin - Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare will open a new, 27,000-square-foot facility near Highway 31 and Braun Road in Racine on August 5, 2013. Physician offices and outpatient rehabilitation services will move from sites Wheaton has outgrown on Bankers Road. Additional outpatient services such as cardiology, GI, orthopedics, OB/GYN, lab, and Imaging will be offered at the new location. Two new primary care physicians will join Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group – All Saints in August for a total of six who will practice there.

“This gives us an opportunity to expand primary and specialty care out in our community. Because the majority of our services are currently located on the Spring Street Campus of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare - All Saints, this new site on Highway 31 allows us to make services more convenient to patients in southern Racine and Kenosha Counties,” explained Paul Mason, Chief Operating Officer for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints. He added, “We are also excited to accommodate the needs of busy patients by adding evening and weekend hours.”

The Highway 31 location will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 7 pm, Fridays from 7 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. The $11 million project broke ground in late August 2012 on land Wheaton previously owned.
